History Of The School
ICF Silver Jubilee Nursery and Primary School was founded in the year 1964 in midst of ICF Colony for the benefit of ICF employees by Shri. Hydari General Manager/ICF and Shri.K.B.Kumar Executive Engineer as Manager and Correspondent.
The Inauguration of our school was in the 1964 with the strength of 90 students. Ms. VijayavalliRathinavelu was the first Head Mistress who led the school.
It is an English medium co-education school from Kinder garten to Std V. We believe in imparting education to our children with a broad outlook of shaping them into useful citizens of tomorrow. Our teaching Methodology is based on our school motto “Learn by Play”.
The school is recognised as ICF Silver Jubilee Nursery and Primary School by the Government of Tamilnadu. The medium of instruction is English and our second language is Tamil and Hindi is our third language. We have 3 sections of L.K.G, 3 sections of U.K.G, 3 sections of std I and 2 sections each from std II to std V. At present our strength is 600. Our school comprises of Head Mistress, 23 teaching and non-teaching faculties and 5 sub-staff.
